Judy Hersey retired on 21st December after 19 years with Rosenthal’s.

Judy has worked in spare parts and the office, firstly in the Renmark dealership and more recently in the new dealership in Berri.

Jim & Phil thank Judy for her many years of service and loyalty to the company and wish her a happy retirement along with the staff at Rosenthal’s.

Trevor Foord retired Friday 18th November. Trevor was our handy man for the past 9 years. He helped with numerous building projects, our consolidation to Berri. Trev did much of the driving between the Renmark & Berri branches and Adelaide runs over the years
Jim,Phil and staff had a BBQ to thank & farewell Trevor.

We wish Trevor & Lee a happy retirement with plenty of fish to fill up the esky.

Just wishing to thankyou for the support Allison and I received after our confrontation with “ROO” yesterday
We appreciated what the tow truck driver did for the service was very prompt
He was very helpful at the accident site and seemed he could not do enough for us
He very obliging went out of his way to take me to the hospital for my operation Actual the admitted me straightaway and I would have been operated on at approx the same time
We also thank you and Donna for the help in the repairs to our car
I get quote in and approved within a couple of hours was very grateful
The loan of a car to get us home again was appreciated as well
The promptness of the repairs arrangement was great and to be able to have it returned so quick is amazing thanks very much
If you still have the photos you took of the damage could please send them to me I will print them up and hang them in my office

Doreen ‘Bub’ Rosenthal passed away October 7th 2011, aged 84 in Berri.

Bub was the wife of the late Doug Rosenthal and mother to Jim & Phil.

Bub was fondly remembered by all the staff at Rosenthal’s. She was well known for her fruit cakes, nuts and bolts and her rocky road was legendary.

A grand lady with a happy smile.

She will be sadly missed by us all.

Rest in Peace Bub.

Trish’s joy at Mazda 2 prize win

Renmark woman Trish McAuliffe was the lucky winner of the Riverland Weekly’s Zip in to Win competition drawn at Rosenthal’s Berri dealership, Saturday 16th July.

Trish and husband Mick were working on their houseboat at the Berri slip. Knowing Trish, Phil Rosenthal called her immediately after the draw to inform her that she had just won a brand new Mazda 2. Trish let out a scream in disbelief. Mick and Trish then came up to Rosenthal’s to pick up their brand new Mazda 2.

Trish placed her only entry into Berri business Adrienne’s Frock Salon just two weeks prior to the draw. Riverland Weekly’s editor Rob McLean drew the winning ticket from the barrel, which was bulging with an estimated 15,000 entries.
